Bromis (Βρομις) whose name means "loud bacchic cry"

was one of the Nysiades.  She was one of the Okeanides who took care of Dionysios on Mount Nysa until he was grown.  This was done so that if Dionysios was hidden he could avoid the wrath of Hera.
