The Pegaiai (Nymphs of Springs) were one of the five Naiads.  The others were  Krinaia (the Nymphs of Fountains), Potameides (the Nymphs of Rivers and Streams), Limnades or Limnatides, (the Nymphs of Lakes) and Eleionomai (the Nymphs of Marshes)
