Procrystes was a robber, son of Poseidon, who forced everyone he met to lie down in his bed. If the person was shorter than the bed, Procrystes extended him until he reached the length of the bed. If the person was longer, he chopped of some of his body.

Theseus met Procrystes, and killed him with his own method v.i.a. decapitation.
